CVSA International Roadcheck Begins
Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s annual International Roadcheck begins today and will run through Thursday, June 8. This is the 30th year of RoadCheck, the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial motor vehicles in the world, with nearly 15 trucks or buses inspected every minute across North America during a 72-hour period.
Every year CVSA highlights an area of emphasis. This year it is cargo securement. To prevent violations related to load securement, make sure the load and all equipment is properly secured. Also be sure to inspect tie-downs, checking for wear and damage.
