What is “Desi Trucking Magazine” ?

This is the very first and only bilingual magazine available in both Punjabi and English that caters the needs of Indo-Canadian Truckers . Desi Trucking Magazine is available in two separate Western & Eastern editions. The Western edition caters British Columbia, Alberta Saskatchewan & Manitoba Provinces and the Eastern edition caters Ontario & Quebec Provinces. What does “Desi” means?

The word for country is “Des” or “Desh” in many languages in the Asian sub-continent.Thus, Desi means “of the homeland.” Typically, “desi” is also a slang word commonly used by Indians.
